A time to view our Sanctuary in a different way
With the completion of construction and the dedication of our new sanctuary, we can see the shape of change
before our very eyes.
From the beautiful architecture of the building, to the new parking facilities and elevators that make every part of the campus fully accessible, to the green grass, stone pavers, and reflecting pond of our new plaza, we can scarcely remember the broken pavement, endless stairs, and broken playground equipment that formerly occupied this part of our property.
With us commencing worship in the new sanctuary, with its magnificent ark and bimah, wood floors and pews, and aweinspiring balconies and star-lit ceiling, it will soon become hard to remember what it was like sharing the Jacobs Family Community Hall as our sanctuary, gathering and meeting place, dining facility, festival and event hall, and even occasional playground for our children.
Beth El finally has the sanctuary - the sacred house of God that we have wished and worked so hard for - and we must now treat it as such.
